American Society of Professional Estimators - ASPE

The American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is a national organization that promotes the profession of construction estimating. ASPE is the oldest and largest organization for construction estimators in the United States.

ASPE's objectives include:

  • Promoting the recognition of construction estimating as a professional field
  • Providing education, fellowship, and opportunities for professional development
  • Promoting the profession of estimating and the benefit of the construction industry

ASPE has been certifying construction estimators for over thirty years. ASPE-certified estimators work at hundreds of construction companies architectural and consulting firms across the United States and internationally.

ASPE offers the following benefits to its members: National acknowledgment of the Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) Accreditation Program, Opportunities to attend national, regional, and affiliated estimating academies, and Opportunities to serve in leadership roles at the local and regional levels. ASPE also awards multiple scholarships (up to $25,000) annually to deserving students pursuing a career within the construction industry.
